E-CAT / E20-II Download Instructions

These instructions cover downloading of software and documentation materials for Electronic Catalog (E-CAT), D1000 chiller and E20-II programs. These programs will have one or more of the following download items available:

· Full Install contains the full installation file for a program. To download the program first click the Download link. Press the Save button in the File Download window that appears and save the file to a folder on your computer hard disk. After this EXE file is saved on your computer hard disk, double-click the EXE file to launch the program installer. Note: Items in the Obsolete E20-II Programs download table are DOS-based programs. In this case the file download is a self-extracting ZIP file. For guidance on installing these DOS programs, please contact Carrier software support at [email protected].

· PLEASE NOTE: Carrier X Builder Framework must be installed before installing any full install of E-CAT, D1000 chiller or E20-II programs. The X Builder Framework full install download is provided in all software download tables. It is downloaded and installed using the same procedure described for Full Install above.

· Patch Install contains the patch installation file for a program. You can use this installer if you have the prior version of this program installed on your computer. This file download is smaller than the full installer above and can be downloaded and installed faster. To download the program first click the Download link. Press the Save button in the File Download window that appears and save the file to a folder on your computer hard disk. After this EXE file is saved on your computer hard disk, double-click the EXE file to launch the program installer.

· Release Sheet contains the program release sheet in Adobe Acobat PDF format. This sheet explains changes in the program and provides installation instructinos. Click the View link to display the release sheet. Once displayed, the sheet can be printed or saved to your hard disk if you wish.

· Support Notes contain informaton about program features plus common operating problems and their workaround solutions. Click the View link to display the support notes. Once displayed, the information can be printed or saved to disk as an HTML file if desired.

· Manual contains the user's manual for the program in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. This item is available for some of the E20-II programs. Click the View link to display the manual. Once displayed, the manual can be printed or saved to disk if desired.
